The Hearthstone, as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is a Seattle landmark for comfort, health and Senior Wellness. We are well regarded throughout the local medical education community because of our collaboration with Shoreline Community College and the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. Nursing students from Shoreline Community College visit the Hearthstone to learn patient communication skills, and pharmacy students from UW meet with our residents to discuss medications, which is a helpful experience for both the students and our residents.
